கடம் கருநாடக இசையுடன் தொடர்புடைய தென்னிந்தியத் தாள வாத்தியக் கருவிகளில் ஒன்றாகும். இது மிக எளிமையான ஓர் இசைக்கருவி ஆகும். இது ஒரு பெரிய மண் பானையில் தட்டுவதன் மூலம் ஒலி எழுப்பப்படும் இசைக்கருவியாகும்.
